As a woman business owner, Chronister is currently working on becoming Woman Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) certified with the state of Missouri and continues to bring awareness to the area regarding entrepreneurship, jobs and security via various events and media including television and newspaper coverage. Chronister has taken her passion for her company and the St. Louis area straight to Jefferson City where she sat with Governor Nixon immediately after his inauguration in 2009 and discussed the state of business, employment and the economy with him concerning the need to create and keep jobs in the St. Louis area as well as the state of Missouri. In addition, she spoke at the Governor’s Conference (Matt Blunt) the year prior and even presented at the Advancing Government Accountability Conference in the Ozarks. Recently, Chronister got involved with Vision Leadership. Parameter Security sponsored events to help support their cause which is to inform leaders about the challenges and opportunities facing our state and to encourage solutions and collaboration; inspire leaders to become active in organization, community, or statewide efforts that make Missouri a better place to work and live; challenge leaders to increase their awareness about themselves and their state and to maximize their leadership potential and provide an opportunity to network with a variety of individuals to strengthen personal and organizational clout. Renee Chronister has a love for our US Military, especially those within the local community. Chronister and her company donate time and services to the USO of Missouri at Lambert. She has been the IT Committee Chairperson and an Executive Committee Board Member for several years. Yearly, Parameter donates their security services to the USO of MO to assist in information security efforts, works closely with the USO’s IT services company, and donates time for various board duties and functions. Her passion and devotion goes to the military and their families in the state of Missouri and those who visit the USO, which are more than 270,000 military personnel and their families annually. Chronister’s dedication to her profession within the St. Louis community has been demonstrated through her influential activities as a business owner. She skillfully guides her company through its challenges, keeping it competitive in the changing business climate, and inspiring others along the way.
