Cyber Security Roundtable Drives Home Reality of Attacks
(June 19, 2009) St. Louis, MO - Thursday's Cyber Security Roundtable, presented by Parameter Security, proved to be a success. With a packed room of attendees ranging from business owners, executives and IT professionals from various industries, this interactive event kept registrants on the edge of their seats.

Shedding light on the dangers of cyber crime from internal and external threats and fielding non-stop questions from the audience, expert panelists included:
  • Dave Chronister, Professional Hacker & CTO, Parameter Security
  • Matt Harper, Forensics Investigator, FBI Cyber Crimes Unit
  • Josh Restivo, Forensics Expert & Owner, Access Forensics
  • Major Joe Meister, Cryptologist, Missouri Air National Guard

Moderated by Audrey Katcher, Partner & head of IT Audit Services at RubinBrown, this two hour event didn't seem long enough to quench the thirst of event goers. "We already had people inquiring about our next roundtable as well as our security awareness training," said Dave Chronister, Lead Hacker & CTO for Parameter Security. "Attendees lingered well after the roundtable concluded, not only to learn more from our panelists but to also get to know us. I even had one attendee say ‘So you're the Parameter Security Governor Jay Nixon was talking about.' I guess we made quite an impression on the Governor when we met with him too."

Parameter Security is planning on coordinating another cyber security roundtable this year and plans on packing the room and then some.
