| Game Night at Parameter Security a Success |
|
First Gaming Night Draws Larger than Expected Crowd (June 28, 2011) St. Louis, MO – On Friday, June 24, Parameter Security’s training room was transformed from an educational venue complete with desks and whiteboards to a full-fledged gaming area for many enthusiasts. By the time 7 p.m. rolled around, the atmosphere was set for playing with various games set-up on tables throughout room. Games included: Warhammer, with intricately hand-painted miniature armies staged and ready for action; Settlers of Catan set up for varying levels of difficulty; Wrath of Ashardalon Dungeons & Dragons board game with miniature characters; and reference books for the tabletop role playing games such as Mage the Awakening, Werewolf the Forsaken, Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition and The Dresden Files.
For attendees unfamiliar with these games, seasoned gamers were happy to explain how each was played and walk them through the particular game of interest. Parameter employees and guests had a great time relaxing, socializing and gaming into the night. Another night of gaming is currently in the works for either the end of July or beginning of August.
