| In Order to Win the War, You Have to Know Thy Enemy |
The US Government Uses Parameter. Why Wouldn't You?Not only have local and state governments used our ethical hackers but so has the US Federal Government. From training federal employees on how to hack and secure networks, to secure code reviews for custom government applications, to social engineering and penetration testing, Parameter Security has worked with the US Government on American soil and abroad to improve overall information security. We Know The Enemy While we are known for our credentials, background and expertise within the government sector, we have several ethical hackers with military and law enforcement backgrounds. Plus, our affiliation with InfraGard provides open communication with the federal government to share sensitive information and intelligence to prevent hostile acts against the United States such as infrastructure and cyber crimes. The US Federal Government Still at Risk State & Local Governments Are At Risk Too The city of Springfield put documents online that contained such sensitive information as people’s Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, home and work telephone numbers -- even a bank account number... The documents were posted on the city’s website in response to Freedom of Information Act requests as part of an initiative to make public information available to anyone with a computer. But personal information, such as home phone numbers, Social Security numbers and driver’s license numbers, are exempt from disclosure under state law...“Oops! We goofed!” city officials said in a Thursday afternoon posting on the city’s Facebook and Twitter pages. Our job is to improve your overall information security so sensitive and classified data remain sensitive and classified. |
