Award Honors Certified EC-Council Instructors Specializing in Information Security (July 21, 2010) St. Louis, MO – When Parameter Security launched H@cker University in May of 2008, they didn’t realize they’d soon be up for one of the information security industry’s most prestigious awards. Nominated for educating offensive cyber security professionals in various industries including the federal government, Dave Chronister, was shocked to hear he was among those being considered for the Certified EC-Council Instructors (CEI) Award. “I was aware that students in my security classes were happy with my teaching style and skills based on overall course evaluations, but I didn’t know they were that happy,” said Chronister in response to the news. The EC-Council CEI Awards honors Certified EC-Council Instructors (CEI) that have attributed to the success of EC-Council certification programs and made a difference in the rapidly evolving information security and ethical hacking domains. These prominent awards are designed to emphasize the importance of information security as a key component in business and to acknowledge and reward Certified EC-Council Instructors that have shown the greatest achievement as well as made significant contributions to EC-Council certification programs and the information security community at large. This year alone, Chronister has taught various EC-Council certification courses throughout the United States, Canada, Germany & Qatar to professionals in industries ranging from financial and professional services to health care and the federal government. Winners will be announced sometime in August followed by an awards ceremony in October. About EC-Council About Hacker University About Parameter Security |
