| Hackers a Hit at AGA Conference |
|
(August 29, 2009) St. Louis, MO - The Annual AGA Conference at the Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri proved a huge success for Parameter Security. Parameter Security's general session presentation "Can You Ever Be 100% Secure?" aroused greater curiosity and interest in Parameter Security and its hackers than ever imagined. One hour later, Parameter Security held a second presentation titled "Inside the Mind of a Hacker" in a breakout room which was packed with eager attendees wanting to hear lead ethical hacker and chief technology officer, Dave Chronister, speak. Throughout the presentation there were gasps of disbelief and constant questions from conference goers who gave such a nice round of applause at the end of the presentaion that other conference attendees stopped to find out what was going on. Thirty minutes later, at the request of conference attendees who were unable to make the "Inside the Mind of a Hacker" presentation, Parameter Security was approached by conference organizers and management asking to repeat the presentation tomorrow so others could attend. The following day brought even more excitement with a room filled to capacity and standing room only (which included those who had already attended yesterday's presentation) and more wide-eyed attendees who walked away with in-depth knowledge and understanding of information security risks. The conference ended on a high for Parameter Security with many thanks from attendees and organizers for presenting at the conference as well as a special invitation to come back next year.
